X is an American painter known for his unique style of drip painting. The Time magazine dubbed X as “____ the Dripper” owing to his painting style.
Y is an actor, his association with X began when his father bought him a book about X. In 2002 a biographical film about X was released which had Y in the lead role. For this film Y got a nomination in the Best Actor category of the Academy Awards.

His father was a Pulitzer Prize winning-poet and his uncle was a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer. In 1959, he confessed at a congressional hearing, “I was involved, deeply involved in a deception.
